Cinestar introduces 3D – The latest in digital entertainment, making it the largest capable cinema chain in the UAE
The latest in Digital Entertainment is now showing at all CineStar Cinemas!!
In partnership with RealD 3D, CineStar announces the next generation of Digital Entertainment in the UAE. There are currently six 3D screens operating between all CineStar Cinemas – 2 at Mall of the Emirates, 2 at Marina Mall Abu Dhabi, 1 at Deira City Centre and 1 at Ajman City Centre. This makes it the largest 3D cinema chain in the country and CineStar will be adding 2 more screens at their new cinema in Majid al Futtaim's Mirdif City Centre.
With digital technology, CineStar will offer its customers a whole new range of products from live sporting events to Rock Concerts, from Opera to Stand-up Comedies – CineStar will continue to entertain and offer the latest and most innovative forms of entertainment in the region.
CineStar Cinemas is a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim Group (MAF), a United Arab Emirates based shopping centre developer, and The Greater Union Organization (GUO) of Australia. Currently CineStar has a presence in four of the country's leading malls, and with the addition of Mirdif City Centre in March 2010, the screen count will reach 50 screens.
